Four organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) units running off the heat from a cement lime kiln in the UK

The four containerized heat recovery Clean Cycle® units operate on a single biomass fired lime kiln heat source in the United Kingdom. This is the first lime kiln to use the ORC technology to improve it’s energy costs. The Clean Cycle® units generate enough clean electricity to offset approximately 25% of the kiln’s on-site electrical demand.
