Waste to Energy

What is it

Waste disposal, transport, and storage has long been a challenge which is now becoming increasingly expensive. CETY works with various industrial and municipal organic waste to eliminate the disposal and transport costs before shipping waste to a large collection facility, while producing value added products.

How we do it

CETY converts waste biomass into energy in two ways:
1. High Temperature Ablative Decomposition (HTAD) breaks down complex hydrocarbon chains into Hydrogen, methane, other Syngas components and into biochar.
2. And when the economics are better we use combustion, which involves burning biomass, usually in a boiler, capturing the heat and up cycling it into energy.

With the HTAD systems we’ve been developing for 15 years we can adjust waste streams to vary the outputs: electricity, Syngas (an exact replacement for natural gas) and BioChar which can be sold as fuel briquettes, soil amendments, construction materials, adsorbents, carbon black, etc.

Heat to Energy

What is it

Heat is everywhere. Every power source in the world can be traced back to heat. Solar power from the sun. Wind power from heat differences in the atmosphere. Geothermal from the Earth’s core. Coal, oil, diesel from combustion. Hydropower from heat in the water cycle. All power is heat converted by either man or nature. Now days many industrial applications, power generators, factories, and more lose much of their input power in the form of heat. To lower energy costs and increase efficiency, CETY helps capture that heat and turn it into usable power today without a single change to your processes due to the modular nature of our solutions.​

How it helps?

If you pay for process cooling you can save hundreds of thousands of dollars in expenses cooling your systems and generating extra power with our heat-to-power solutions. Furthermore, if you have a waste stream from your processes your waste can be converted into heat to create electricity instead of paying for waste removal.

Since the 2000s we have been building, designing, implementing, and redesigning our Organic Ranking Cycle (ORC) Clean Cycle units. Now on our second generation power efficiency is higher than ever. Furthermore, by working with our partners we can bring productive heat recovery to larger situations, and provide cost competitive solutions for applications with heat flows from 750 – 10,000 kWth.​

Our solutions are autonomously controlled, designed to reduced maintenance costs and are UL certified with grid integration to sell back excess power. All of our clients have significantly reduced power expenditures through our projects. Power Generation

What is it

Reliable power is of the utmost importance in all industries. From medical, to data centers, to industrial manufacturing, to waste problems, to marine, to oil and gas we need reliable power. CETY offers onsite power generation solutions which produce cheaper energy than the grid in most locations.

How it helps

Our power generation solutions are scalable, efficient, versatile, and resilient. We provide high power gas turbine generators that, because of the modular nature, we can create arrays that produce from 5-75 MW and interlink them to produce 300MW+. Our gas engines produce steam that can be added to your industrial proceses, as a combined configuration with a steam generator, or with a Heat-to-Power solution to boost overall thermal efficiency by up to 50-60%. Being low emission lets you can generate 260 MW without triggering a PSD review and 70MW in severe non-attainment areas.​

Lastly

Our solution installations only take a few hours and can start up in minutes when the grid powers out. Furthermore, by using AI to forecast and smooth operations and an energy controller to provide constant voltage​ we increase operational efficiency. Combining our power generation with power storage creates an energy buffer​ to keep all of your operations safe. With flexible pricing options all of our power generation solutions are affordable.

What is it

How it helps

Our energy storage systems increase the reliability and resilience of your projects while lowering costs. Our energy management systems can be configured to participate in power arbitrage. We can charge batteries during off-peak periods where energy prices are lower and use battery power when demand and prices are high all while leaving enough power stored for energy back-ups until emergency generators go online.​
